The driver basically acts like any other driver supporting a device connected to your computer. It is an interface between your computer and the real world (in our case, the AUDIO KONTROL 1 hardware). AUDIO KONTROL 1 lets you control your music applications (or, in fact, any other application) from the four Controllers on the hardware top panel.
